5 Unique Spaces For Your Dallas Family Portrait

Deep Ellum

With and ever changing landscape of murals, newly designed restaurants and quirky shops this part of Dallas is unique. If you’re looking for something urban, contemporary and with a bit of style this could be your ticket.

Bishop Arts District

Vintage Americana with a sort of small town feel right in the heart of Dallas the Bishop Arts District is a fun space to visit especially during non-peak hours. With lots of shady outdoor spaces and tons of fun artwork on the walls and doorways of the local businesses make this place unique in North Texas.

Cedar Hill State Park

This is definitely a slightly less well know way to get away from the look and feel of being in the city without having to drive. Cedar Hill S.P. not only has beautiful natural trails and historic buildings but also gorgeous views of the lake. Note: there is a small entry fee.

Downtown Dallas

This is a space I’ve been using for years with our wedding clients but families can use it too. There are city parks, hidden street corners and just a great mix of textures and light to choose from.

Your home!

Your street, the front porch or a backyard oasis can be a perfect idea for a family portrait venue. I’ve used them all and I love how it can personalize the images for a family.
