Our Process

Pre-Consultation

The first step in the process of commissioning BWS is simply us getting to know your style, the dynamics of your family, and the type of work you’re interested in having us create. We go over locations, clothing, as well as set the date for the shoot and the reveal session. All of your questions and concerns should be taken care of before we shoot so your mind can be at ease on the day.

The Shoot

First we really believe in having us both on hand for your shoot. While I handle a lot of the photography, Stephanie is there to help with kids expressions, lighting and logistics. Having both of us makes for a very smooth shooting process and because we’ve already done our homework this is always the fun part, however we always remain adaptable and ready for any good or bad surprises. By knowing the type of artwork you want in advance we know where to spend the most time but we always find a way to give you additional options and pairings for other prints.

The Reveal

About a week after the session we'll have you down to the studio or we can come to your home to reveal the final images and make your selections for printing. We’re with you all the way to help with ideas and to make sure things are done just the way you want them. We have a wide variety of printing options that will suit any home from canvas, metal and acrylic prints as well as beautiful handmade albums.
